Meet Our Team
From our experiences operating on the frontlines of 21st century battlefields and behind the Cold War curtain, to existential upheaval in the automotive and healthcare industries, we’ve seen firsthand what works and what doesn’t in tense situations – and we’re standing ready to share our expertise with you.

Holly Hughson, Founder + CEO
For nearly two decades, Holly operated in and trained others for the frontlines of 21st century conflict as a humanitarian aid worker and military advisor. Her negotiating skills and perceptive insights into human interaction have been tested on the battlefields in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq, the Russian Federation, and more.
She’s been dropped into places of extreme uncertainty and volatility, where she had little or no experience with the local language or culture. What was left for her to work with? Instinct, intuition, and the ability to adapt.
The stakes were high, and she came out on the other side thriving, thanks to time-tested communication tactics and a good head on her shoulders. Now, you can benefit from the tools and techniques she developed while working amid some of the most dangerous conflicts on the planet.
Peggy Wolff, Principal + Director of Strategic Communications
Peggy has over two decades of executive experience building teams both in corporate settings and non-profit foundations. She has worked across multiple organizational functions, including finance, controlling, human resources, IT, and legal.

She brings skills that made her a successful executive: a proven ability to communicate directly, clearly and persuasively, reflecting an appropriate sense of diplomacy and urgency to all levels of the organization.
She has lived and worked in Detroit, Geneva, Indonesia and India. She is fluent in English, French and German, loves the arts, an intense tennis match, open water swimming, Alpine skiing, motorcycling, and a good laugh.

Alan Scarfe, Principal Consultant
Alan brings an unusual perspective to this work, having sought to bring clarity and direction into the labyrinth of church institutions for more than thirty-five years.

Healthy relationships between church personnel, professional and volunteer, have their own particular challenges; and creating a team approach to a traditional hierarchical structure requires a high degree of chaordic patience.

During postgraduate studies as a British Council and Patriarchal scholar in Ceaucescu’s Romania, he lived and worked among those fighting for religious freedom and human rights, a cause he assumed on return to the UK and later in the USA.
Deb Covington, Principal + Head of Operations
Deb comes to Delta Foxtrot + Co with a wide array of experience in Team Development and Team Dynamics. A registered nurse, she has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily filling critical leadership roles within the Operating Room.
Deb is a trained meeting facilitator, with a real interest in constructive conflict resolution and a passion for great peer-to-peer customer service.

For over 20 years, Deb was involved in international medical missions and was instrumental in starting an organization to serve people in Guatemala. For many of the missions, Deb acted as head nurse leading the surgical teams in hundreds of operations.
